Effective ministry results when the Lord opens a door. Let’s be willing go out to preach the Gospel in the places God has planted us and ask Him to open as many doors as possible.

As I look at 2017, and the options available, I will spend time today asking for His direction.  I desire to follow nothing other than Him this year.

 Let’s ask Jesus where He has ordained us to work and bear fruit this year, fruit that will affect eternity.

As much turmoil as exists over our country’s leadership, we MUST pray and intercede for our nation. 

Godly friendships matter because they display to a hungry world what a Jesus-kind-of-love looks like. I pray your life abounds with beautiful, edifying friendships in 2017!

My beloved is mine, and I am his… (Song of Songs 2:16 ESV) My husband and I belong to each other. That makes my prayers for him the most personal of the whole 31 days.

This year, I seek God and ask Him to help me do what is good, right, and faithful, serving Him, with all my heart. If Believers worked like this in all the different jobs we hold, we would turn the world upside down.

Because the days are evil, making the best use of my time is more important that ever. I want to walk wisely, with a view to eternity. But for that, I need more of Jesus.

Let’s bring our bodies into subjection to Jesus and see what amazing things He does!

Today we will pray for the Lord's help so we can walk out that plan, on whatever path He places us, to His glory and the building of His Kingdom.

Today I pray for God to establish every plan for 2017 so I can follow well, wherever He may take me.

The only source for the constant faith and supernatural hope we need for 2017 is Jesus. So today, we are asking the Lord for the spiritual resources and provisions to last us the year.
