Show Notes

How many of you have kids that have left the building? They are forging their own lives, families, hobbies, desires, and interests, and our control and in most cases input is over. That’s exactly as it is supposed to be, but that doesn’t make it easy.

I functioned as a cruise director for decades. My cruise ship was a 15 passenger van. I directed the logistics of field trips. Sports practices, music, dance, gymnastics, tennis, etc lessons. Medical appointments.

I often wondered at the numbers. How many miles did I drive? How many diapers did I change? How many loads of laundry? How many books did I read out loud? How many owies did I kiss?

And now, my life’s work has grown up and moved on. Exactly as they were supposed to.

With this new stage is a new job. Praying for our adults is the most important thing we can do.

It’s offensive. (doesn’t offend- except for the enemy)

Here are the 5 prayers in my new e-book.
