Does your heart break because of a prodigal child?

Do you wonder if God really loves you, even with all your mistakes?

Does the God of the Old Testament seem mad and Jesus seem nice?

Do you struggle with the thought of God being your father because your relationship with your earthly father is broken?

Do you think if you just do enough, act good enough, be holy enough — THEN God will love you?

So many of our heart issues lie in the struggles we have with understand WHO our Heavenly Father is and HOW He loves us. In my new novel, Finding Home, the parable of the Prodigal Son comes to life in technicolor detail, and in the process the extraordinary love of our Father leaps from the page to minister to our hearts.

RELEASING: February 20, 2024.

Hey Friend! I am so glad you are here!

Pull up a chair. Grab a cup of coffee.
Let’s chat about living for Jesus when life feels like an uphill slog, on a muddy road,
while pushing a cart of boulders.
Do you know what I mean?

Being transparent and bringing dirty laundry into the light is sort of natural for me.
So, here I ask honest questions that don’t always have answers.
And I welcome your hard questions, too.

Also, I believe every answer lies in Jesus’s heart.
Now, we might not every detail answer until heaven, but I know He holds every answer.
So, come along with me as I shine a telescope in Him
and try to reveal how big, extravagant and immeasurable He is.

As much as possible I want to help you find your way back to your Heavenly Father’s arms,
to be protected, held, loved, and healed.

Because, I want, to the best of my ability, to point you Home to Him.

Want to keep in touch? I would love that!

Please sign up below and join me as we explore how to live as mighty women who love Jesus and our families, and who aren’t afraid to follow Him!

I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE!

Whatever brought you here today, I’m glad you found me and I can’t wait to get to know you!

Let me introduce myself. I’m a sixty-year-old mom of seven and grandmother of twelve! I love my husband, my family, and living in Texas. But above all I love Jesus, and I adore talking about Him.

I believe that if I’m breathing, Jesus still has work for me. So, I talk and write about Him so that others can know Him better. The more we KNOW about the Lord, the more we love Him. No other response makes sense.

But, here’s the problem. Life can be hard. Family might hurt or disappoint us. Church people might do that in ways that it makes it difficult to move past. How do we love Jesus when His people cause so much pain?

If you find yourself running from the Lord, or even just having a hard time seeing Him at all, I want to help. My goal in what I write and speak is to always point to Him. Jesus is what truly matters!

So, let’s connect. What are your questions? What do you want to know about the Lord? What confuses you?

Does the world seem to be going crazy? All around me I see decreasing hope and increasing fear. But maybe we’ve looked for our solid ground to be set on temporary things: money, home, family, the American dream, and lack of conflict.

Here’s the thing: if everything else fails, Jesus doesn’t. We need to quit looking to anything but Him for security and life. For the rest of my days, I will POINT THE WAY HOME to our Heavenly Father who stands with open arms, welcoming us to Himself.

So, what keeps you from a deeper relationship with the Lord?

My goal is point the way to Him and help you soar to new height of joy and confidence in your relationship with Him.

Some of my favorites things are Jane Austen movies, tacos, hiking, reading, and Dr. Pepper. But I can’t begin my day without my Bible and my coffee. I’ll travel anywhere God gives me the opportunity, and if I get to talk about Jesus while I’m there, that’s even better!

O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim
your might to another generation,
your power to all those to come.
